Court Status:

General guidelines:

If the temperature drops below 35 degrees, the courts will close.
When the courts are frozen, the lines tend to lift up, exposing the nails. This becomes a safety issue. No play
Thawing will make the courts soggy, which can lead to footprints, divots, and ruts on the courts. No play
If it has rained, it may take as much as 12 hours for the courts to dry out enough to be playable. If there are puddles on the court, mud/slick spots on the court, footprints left when walking on the court, no play.

Tennis Club Members,

Dues for club membership are now being received. You may place your dues in an envelope with your name(s) and email address written, and deposited at the SCP Tennis mailbox at Club Peachtree (amenities center).

The SCP Tennis community will be actively involved in play and social events throughout this year.

Sunday Beginner Tennis/Tennis 101 restarts on March 9, @ 5:00pm.

Sun City Area Tennis (SCAT) Team Tennis begins the first week of April:

Dues are $10 per member paid by personal check or cash placed in an envelope. Write the member name(s) and email address on the envelope and deposit it in the Tennis Club mail box in the amenities center.
