Dues for club membersship are now being received. For now, you may place your dues in an envelope with your name(s) and email address written, and deposited at the SCP Tennis mailbox at Club Peachtree (amenities center). When renovations take place on the top floor, negating the use of the mailbox, we will ask that you place the dues in the bird box of Bennie Conkright at 236 Begonia Court.   

The SCP Tennis community will be actively involved in play throughout this year. With daily group play and the work of the development/tournament committee to discover new ways to promote involvement, we hope to give you an opportunity to play, exercise, and make friends. When the weather gives us a break, we will reignite Sunday Beginner Tennis/Tennis 101. A special thank you goes to Bonnie Wainwright, who keeps Sunday Beginner Tennis/Tennis 101 active throughout the year. This endeavor has become a mainstay for SCP Tennis allowing new players to learn and work on their game. Bonnie’s patience and teaching expertise was noticed on these Sunday nights. The Sun City Area Tournament (SCAT) league, which gave participants an opportunity to play in a competitive atmosphere through team tennis, will be planned for March.

Please remember to check the court conditions before playing while we have freezing temperatures. This causes the courts to be soggy and the lines to raise.
